Hollard’s MotorXtender Car Warranty insurance policy provides cover against unexpected repair costs if your car breaks down.

MotorXtender covers up to 23 major parts (e.g. engine, gearbox, braking system etc.) in the event of mechanical or electrical breakdown. Cover limits are calculated based on the make of the car, which means it is customised according to your needs. It also includes 24/7 roadside assistance which has become increasingly important to have. This service also includes help with flat tyres, jump starting your car battery and delivering fuel if your car runs out. You can also choose to add ServiceXtender which helps pay for the service of the car.

To be covered the car must have a full-service history covering at least 3 years before the start of the policy. If however you have not had regular services then a major service completed before cover starts will be acceptable.

The policy also offers you a no-claim reward if you don’t claim for 36 months, which pays 10% of your premium back in cash. If you don’t claim for a further 36 months you get 20% of your premium back.
